Last date for late fee waiver for all months is september 20?

hi Everyone,

I want to know if the last date for late fee waiver for all months i.e. July 2017 to July 2020 is September 2020 or there is a month wise due date for it?

I mean , e.g. for July 2017, due date is different, for August 2017, date is different?

The GST returns for the period February 2020 to July 2020 to be filed on or before the 30/09/2020 in order to avail the benefit of late fees reduction up to maximus of RS. 500. If the returns filed beyond 30/09/2020, the full late fees would be liable. Further, the notification no.52/2020 provides relaxation in late fee for the July 2017-January 2020 GSTR-3B, if the said returns are filed between 01/07/2020 to 30/09/2020

The returns relating from 2/2020 to 7/2020 may be filed on or before 30/09/2020 along with the late fee of Rs. 500.

Late fees for Gstr3b is waive off from jul17-jul20
in case of Nil return- Fully waive off
In case of tax liability -500/- maximum
and you should filled these return upto 30.09.2020
beyond this, you cannot avail this benefit

Late is not applicable if you are filing Nil return. However, for other than Nil return a maximum of Rs 500 is applicable as late fees if the returns are filed after due date but before 30th September, 2020.

On the portal it seems there's no waiver of late fees.
When notification was issued it was implemented. But no upon checking one of my clients the late fee is no showing 6K instead of ₹500/-. What to do in this case?
