Yes Correct Mr.Raju,
its from 5% to 5.5% and from 14% to 14.5%.

The info on VAT Rate changes are given in all news papers on 28th July 2012.

As I know Iron and Steel comes under Declared goods under CST act, for which it clearly says that the rate should not exceed 5%.
Can anybody clarify this ?

May I know what is the rate of VAT for Tents (Maharaja tent measuring 8m*12m on iron frame with curtains). The reason for clarification is that two firms have quoted two different rates viz: 14.5% and 5.5%. What is the correct VAT rate .
