Just tell me once.......?

if we see deeply, the ultimate purpose is to do practice in certain subject or field while we do job just like if after final i go for finance then i will keep updating myself for that field specifically and i have nothing to do with audit, tax etc. so yes its true all is getting washed EXCEPT THE ULTIMATE PURPOSE i.e. my knowledge and expertise in finance field, BUT IN ORDER TO REACH THAT POINT OF KNOWLEDGE IN FINANCE I NEED TO START FROM 1st 2nd 3rd and so on and 12th from a b c d and 1 2 3 and algebra and mathematics and law...... i have to go through ALL THESE LEVELS TO REACH THAT POINT.....

We remember things if we constantly use them. Like ur name: Did u forget ur name? No, becoz u hear it daily. Did u forget addition, subtraction? No, becoz u have used it million times. Did u forget that income is to be credited and expense is to be debited? Not at all, becoz u used it everytime u did an accounting problem. Likewise, there are many things which we learn whose use is not just limited for 1 year, but for many years.

And even if we forget certain things that we learn, we will still have a basic knowledge of it or atleast some damn idea that it exists.

Learning process is just the beginning. If u get a job in auditing field, then u will constantly use auditing concepts and u wont forget them. Also there is a scope of improving on what u learnt. If u dont study auditing at all, then how can u perform the audit job. Not possilble right?

And we learn so much stuff becoz they are interrelated.

If u r doing an audit, then u not only just need auditing concepts, but also accounting concepts, company law(if its a co.), taxation, ERP(if it has one).

If u learn variety of things, then u will also have many choices when it comes to selecting a job.

I might sound philosphical, but knowledge doesnt go waste. I was very good in maths in school. While preparing for cpt, i studied QT really well and could solve almost all the problems. I passed cpt with 102 marks. Maths saved me.

ibelieve knowledge comes only by experience...books serve only as a guide...

ultimately...though we do read many books in our curriculum also...eventually we specialise in something or a few things and hence our focus should be there...

one must keep practicing whatever he learns out of books or other sources....

besides...even in books...i guess what gets washed off is the things we try to remember....if you try to remember...you are quite likely to forget....hence...understand...if you understand the question of forgetting anything doesnt arise...

AT THESE STAGES WE LEARN.. HOW TO LEARN???

AND IF U R THINKING THAT WHAT IS THE USE OF THAT KNOWLEDGE THAN TRY TO WORK AS A CA IN ANY CO. WITHOUT STUDY... U WILL SURELY GET UR ANSWER
