Joint property tds

ok i bought a house in joint with my dad, he paid 20% , rest i paid via my svaing and loan, so for tds i paid the whole tds in form 26qb with the total amount there as it costed us... did i do correctly do do we both need to file tds sepeartely? for respective amounts plz guide
