17 July 2017My client has a property with joint ownership of his mother. He wants to sell this property and buy new rental property. What will be the tax implication if he brings this new rental property into HUF. Will the rental income be clubbed into my client's income?

Was the property purchased by the assessee or inherited or gifted?
If purchased..... what was the source of the fund !!!
