In case company appoints/wants to appoint only one of the two joint auditors what the comapny has to do to comply with the companies act,

company should pass resolution for only one auditor in GM by share holders.

thats ok but what abt the auditor who r not getting appointed
Pass resolution for their no reappointment...?
and any other requirements r to be fullfilled or not.....?

first :: Notice to share holder... usme ye likhenge ki next year ke liye sir ek auditor Mr. X ko appoint kiya jayega.
Second:: in genral meting..... ydi joint auditor ko kisi resn se hta rhe he to uske anusar resoliution (normal or special) pass hoga.
Therd:: notice to auditor... AGM me Appoint hone ke bad use notic beja jayega (7 din ke ander)
forth:: Form 23B me wo apni appruval dega.

The profit and loss account should contain or give by way of a note detailed information in regard to amounts paid to the auditors (whether as fees, expenses or otherwise for services rendered-)
a) As auditor
b) As advisor, or in any other capacity, in respect of –
Ø Taxation matters
Ø Company law matters
Ø Management services and
c) In any other manner
