Hello Sir/Madam
I am a regular gst tax payer in Garments sector. I got a job work on garment. recipient has given me thread for job work on its cloth. for this he has issue me debit note with gst. how did I treat in gstr 1. can i claim itc . should they issue sales invoice along with debit note. which is purchase for me. please help

Just confirm, is it Debit Note or Delevery Challan under rule 55 of the CGST rules 2017 ?.

How it is possible ?. whenever principal send goods for Job work to Job worker , he has to apply rule 55 of the CGST rules 2017 . Just check rule 55 of the CGST rules .and section 143 of the CGST act .
