Jaipur CA students secure 11 top positions

JAIPUR: Jaipur students have secured 11 top positions among 100 in the all-India merit list of the Professional Examination (PE II) and 
Proficiency Competency Examination (PCE) for CharteredAccountants (CA) course, results of which were declared on Thursday. As many as 504 candidates from Jaipur have qualified in the examination. 



Chairman of Institute of Chartered Accountants, Jaipur, Pawan Parashar told TOI that a total 1,971 candidates had appeared for the Professional Examination (PE II) and Proficiency Competency Examination (PCE) from Jaipur. Out of the total candidates, around 27% of candidates managed to pass the exam. 



He also said that all-India merit list included 100 candidates, 50 from Professional Examination (PE II) category and 50 from Proficiency Competency Examination (PCE). The candidates, who secured position in PE II category included Mansi Bhandari, Gaurav Gupta, Pawan K Kakra, Rajesh Kumar Agarwal and Tanmay Agarwal. And Archana Sarthi, Himanshu Vijay, Sumedha Agarwal, Raghav Bajaj, Gaurav Agarwal and Diwakar Mittal have secured merit position in PCE. 



Comparing Jaipur with coaching hub Kota, Parashar said that just like Kota coaching institutes boast about IIT and other engineering entrance examination results. Jaipur, now, has shown excellent results for CA. He also said that coordination between Institute of Chartered Accountants and coaching institutes led to huge success of Jaipur students in the examination. 



Not just students from Rajasthan, students from different states of the country, including Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Maharastra and others are coming to Jaipur for coaching to prepare for CA examination. He also said that city-based CAs extended all support to the candidates by conducting special programmes for them at coaching institutes.
