I am going to appear in November 2012 Final 2nd Group Exam. My friend told me that GSt is going to applied from August 2012, hence Direct & Indirect Tax is going to change. So, it will be waste of time to read these two subjects now. So, I request you all to please advise me what to do (Whether the Syllabus for May exam will be applicable for Nov exam or not?).
It is very much urgent.
it would take a very very long tym for GST to practically come into operation.........and by no chance it would be applicable for nov'12
so relax.........finance act 2011 would apply to may'12 and nov'12
for nov attempt you also need to know circulars and notification issued prior to 5months
for nov attempt.its high tym to start preparing............timely start would give you ample tym to revise thoroughly and get a sound grip over the two papers
so start asap
