While a filling ITR 2 online under CG Long term capital gains immovable property there are few clarifications.
1. There is no column/space for filling in Acquisition cost , Indexation factor, Date of purchase etc There are spaces and cells for giving consolidated figures only.
Please inform whether the calculation sheet be preserved for further reference.
2. Why these important particulars are missing in ITR2.
1. Yes it is required to be maintain to refer whenever any query be raised.
2. Importance is given to capital gain and tax liability over it. (how it is cooked is left to chef!!!)
