ITR-V for AY 2009-10

Efiling 1586 views 6 replies

As per the Circular No. 03/2009, for AY 2009-10, ITR-V generated of the efiled returns without digital signature needs to be sent to The Income Tax Dept., Banglore directly by mail using A4 size envelope. It will not be accepted by any other office of the Income Tax Dept.

What is this, why are they making efiling system so difficult. Why the power of the local income tax office of accepting ITR-V is withdrawn.

Becasue they are going to central processing system. Where they process all the returns as faster than the local offices. As you aware about the new TDS procedure all tax credit will be given on the basis of new system, which is in his PAN account. Thus by processing they are curtailing  the burden of local offices and opt for the fast processing.

sir, please tell me... How we will receive the Acknowledgement of that?

If there any time lag for reaching the ITR V to Bangalore?

Thanks Mr. CA Ajay Chaudhary  for info.

Sir, Please tell us is it mandatory or just as per assesseee's wish

and also tell is it for Individual or for firm compananies etc.

and Acknowledgement issue is also there how we will get the acknowledgement.

Thanks

Praveen

We will not be receiving any stamped acknowledgement. The CPC will send an email (as mentioned in the return) ackonowledging receipt of ITR-V. ITR-V should be sent within 30 days of the efiling. Now this is a mandatory procedure if you have efiled the return. As of now efiling is compulsory for companies & 44AB firms.

After efiling and sending it to Bangalore within 30 days, will they sent only an email acknowledging receipt of ITR V?  Will any bank accept. when we go for a loan or something like that?  Can any one clarify
