HELLO FRIENDS, IF A PERSON GOVT. EMPLOYEE HAS DIED BUT FORM NO 16 HAS BEEN ISSUED ON HIS NAME
NOW WHO CAN SIGN HIS RETURN FORM IS HIS SON CAN SIGN
BUT THERE IS NO COLUMN IN ITR SARAL -II FOR THE REPRESENTATIVE ASSESS3EE
NOW PLS. TELL ME WHAT OTHER DOCUMENTS HIS SON WILL ATTACH OR PLS TELL ME THE PROCEDURE .

Dear sir.
if a person is died with the a.y. end, so the 1st responsible person will be his wife, after that his son.
now if his son is about to sign on ITR-1, than he will sign on the same place of the assessee, but for this he have to attach death certificate of the assessee. (isseued from Nagar Palika/Nigam).
if his wife is going to sign than same certificate, she have to attach with the return.
