I am new to e-file the return. I want to know the procedure of e-filing. Is it necessary to maintain Books of Accounts?

My source of Income is

  • Salary ( No Form 16 ) - Approx 2.5 lacs
  • Earning through teaching - Approx 2 lacs

What should i do first ? please reply

your teaching income is more than 120000, so you are required to maintain books

don't try to file your return yourself, because it ia not very easy as it looks
and dont go for a CA , because they charge a lot. go to any accountant. they will charge only 500 rs
