Itr filing

Hi,

I failed to file ITR for last 3 Assesment years. I got a compliance notification from Income Tax dept. Hence I spoke to one of the Tax consultant and filed ITR for all the years on the same day. I been informed by some people that we are not supposed to file the previous years returns at a time. I did some research online when I check it in the income tax portal it is mentioned. In case if the applicant fails to file returns before the due date, it can be filed with in 10 months. It neither mentioned we should not file or should file. I just wanted to know is there any issue if we file the returns for all the assesment years.

Regards,

Naresh

no issues naresh. every day is assessed separately and not to worry if the tax due is nil. or meagre. fear only for somebody having spurious transactions. or cash or business income fluctuate more than 20%...all the very best
errata....first line. ..read as every assessment year (not everyday)
