This year ITR-3, there is a question "wheather you are a director in a company"; for pressing the answer yes or no, if we click it displays "the cell is readonly...... and needs a password". And the password is not given anywhere. Even after enabling all macros, it is prompting the same.

Check if its latest version.

Secondly it gets opened for Individual assessee, not for HUF etc.

So, fill general details first, like PAN etc properly and check.

One more option, save the file and reopen it again........ .......

I try to upload ITR3. showing this message after OTP.

The XML Schema is invalid. Please upload the XML in the correct schema. At Line Number 880 : Invalid content was found starting with element 'ITRForm:DeductionUs54F'. One of {"https://incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in/master":ExemptionOrDednUs54)' is expected. Please clarify me what i need to do.

which ITR utility you are using?

Excel or Java?

Java sir. No problem sir. New version downloaded and uploaded successfully sir. It's ask specify which account no to credit a return. Thank You for your response Sir.
