ITR-2 Stuck - Validation Error "Please enter the bank name"

I too am facing the same issue and even after a 100th retry, the new ITR site gives the same error. Did anyone report this to the finance ministry yet ?

i am not able to remove bank account as it is showing the validation under progress. so bank account cant be removed. now how to remove?

stuck with same error enter bank name.

Don’t try to remove the bank account details It can’t be removed Without worrying about it try through offline mode and it works

When i tried offline I am geting a deiffernt error.

ERROR:  Tax Payable on Total InTax Payable on Total Income is not equal to the sum of (Normal Tax plus Special Tax minus Rebate on Agricultural Income)

But the amount payable and refund is matching with zero. can you please guide what needs to do?

if you get message "Something went wrong, Please try later" keep trying couple of times. It will eventually work.

i have submitted itr-2 for individual, offline, its uploaded.

for HUF its not working- offline and online

This error is shown twice

I have 3 bank accounts out of which validation for one is pending. Am unable to delete this account so that I can add it again.

I am unable 2 file my return.

It is greatly appreciated if some guides me step by step. Thanks in advance

Hi All, I had this same error "Please enter the Bank name" problem while validating the return. I found I had one of the bank account details in "Failed Bank Accounts" : Dashboard My Profile My Bank Accounts

When I validated same, error was gone and I was able to succesfully verify the return. Hope it would help.

This bug happened during migration . There is no edit facility and the bank name cannot be inserted. If it is being validated you cannot remove it either . Absolutely frustrating . Call centre was helpless but promised help.
