ITR 2 for A.Y. 2021-22 on New Website
Has the IT Department made available ITR 2 on new site ? Can I use last year's ITR2 ?

Not yet I think. Last year's form cannot be used for this year.

ITR 2 has been enabled. But you need to download the offline utility from the new portal and then fill and submit it from the utility itself.

Dear Mahaveer Kumar, can you please elaborate further. Software needed for offline utility. Name of this utility. After login to new website, the drop-down menu shows only ITR 1 and ITR 4.

Yes, After visiting Income tax portal, you can find ITR 1 to ITR 4 Utility under Downloads section.
Download the utility and install it.
After Installation, you will be asked to login and after login you will get a drop down of ITR 1,2&4.

Thanks a lot, guys, for detailed information. Will follow the links, but, TDS will still be pending, since last date for TDS is 15 July, or later. So, I guess, I shall prepare my ITR 2 offline and wait for Final instalment of TDS, before uploading my ITR 2.
