Fellows, while filing income tax return of a salaried employee if we are claiming more expenditures then do we need to file bills for it as annexures or not. ?

No we don't need to file any bills with ITR. you have to just upload ITR-1 on efilling website then download ITRV and take the printout of ITRV and after signature on ITRV send it to CPC address which is mentioned in bottom of ITRV page.
but in case of scrutiny by income tax department you must have to show all the bills & Proof of the expenditures & Deductions(80C to 80U) that you have mentioned in ITR-1.

No, you need not attach any bills as such to claim deductions at the time of filing ITR. But keep these documents handy as and when required.

I was talking about general expenses that a person makes, for example on fuel or other consumable items.
