One of my new client Income tax jurdiction as per PAN card is Rajasthan. But for last 5 years he is filing return in Mumbai. Is it correct. Kindly advice.
Also let me known, while E-filing whether he will mention Rajasthan ITO juristiction or jurisdiction where he file return last year.

Firstly, in return mention resp. Mumbai ITO Juridication.
Secondly, Apply for rectification in PAN information as Change in address.

Client is having a PAN belonging to Rajasthan but he is filing the return in Mumbai. Is it corect.

He can do so. But it is recommended to change the address. Address is helpful in future for Notice, refund, etc
