I GOT A MESSAGE FROM GST DEPT. AS FOLLOWS :-
" ITC on domestic purchases in FYear 2018-19 claimed in GSTR-3B exceeds Rs.4.97 lakh when compared with the credit available in GSTR-2A"
I M DOING IMPORT BUSINESS & I TAKE ITC IN FORM OF IGST PAID...
Dept personnel are comparing total itc with itc in GSTR2A which is not possible. as itc on account of RCM will not be reflected in GSTR2A.
Just submit your reply stating the facts
