Please suggest me the answer. One of my client doing supply of building materials with GST. Now they purchased a heavy vehicle for their business purposes. Whether they can claim ITC from the above vehicle purchase value??

Sir,
as per section - 17(5)
Motor vehicles and other conveyances except when they are used--
[i] for making the following taxable supplies, namely:-
[A] further supply of such vehicles or conveyances ; or
[B] transportation of passengers; or
[C] imparting training on driving, flying, navigating such vehicles or conveyances;
[ii] for transportation of goods.
so as per above explanation u can claim ITC.

Yes... The Client claim ITC as per above details. No more restriction.
