we are a partnership firm constructing a factory building for our manufacturing purpose...can we claim the ITC on cement & building materials bill..
few says we can claim under plant...few says we should not since ITC is ineligible....pls clarify.

No you can't claim ITC on Cement and Building Materials Bill.
It is Blocked u/s 17(5) of the CGST Act 2017.
Refer Section 17(5) clause (c) and (d) of the CGST Act 2017, which clearly states that ITC on Works Contract Service is ineligible.
