I have taken Membership of Hotels for my business purpose. As I have to meet clients for business purpose. So I need a good hotels where we meet and discuss, for marketing our business we need to delight our clients by meeting with them in a high class Hotel.
The query is whether Membership of such Hotels taken for business purpose. Can I get ITC of the same as this expense is for business purpose.

no as it is specifically mentioned in sec 17(5) as a blocked credit

In the Act it is mentioned as Membership of A CLUB, Health & Fitness Center nowhere it is mentioned about Hotels.
I mean to say in my case it's about Sahara Star, Tata Ginger, Taj Hotel etc all these hotels create a package for customers to buy their Membership. so in that case can I take the ITC of the GST paid
