ITC OF CEMENT AND STEEL

I AM PROCURING CEMENT AND STEEL for NEW FACTORY CONSTRUCTION.I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW WETHER ITC OF CEMENT AND STEEL IS ELIGIBLE OR NOT.

No it is not eligible for ITC. Refer Section 17 (6) of CGST Act,2017 followed by Explanaion.

If not no way for ITC claim...!

IS ITC IS ELIGIBLE FOR BUILDERS ON CONSTRUCTION OF HOUSE FROM 1APR 2019

It depends on the project and the option availed by builder

1. Ongoing project - Either 12% with ITC or 5%/1% without ITC

2. New project - 5%/1% without ITC - mandatory
