One of my client is running an “US Polo Brands Garments Showroom”
Now the showroom premises owner (landlord) issues the GST Bill of electricity in my client’s name but receives payment from the Company (US Polo) directly.
Can I claim ITC on those bills?

How he can charge GST on supply of electricity service As it is exempted u/s 11.???

As per Notification 12/2017 CT : Transmission or distribution of electricity
by an electricity transmission or
distribution utility.
Hence it's exempted on the end of Electricity dept. to Landlord. But if landlord further charging & recovering it from tenant it TAXABLE.
Yes you can claim ITC for the same (Bill should be in Name of client) ask your client to raise the bill for the same to US Polo company

No one can charge GST on electricity because it is exempted under section 11.
