ITC for Canteen service in company

Dear all, shall I take ITC for canteen service, if employer has to provide above service enforceable by law means?

ITC of outdoor catering is blocked as per sec 17(5).
The same is available only in exceptional cases...
a) Such services are taken for further taxable supply of such services.
b) Such services are further supplied as a taxable component of a composite supply.

Considering the proviso and exceptions in your case credit won't be available for the catering services taken by employer.

Normally ITC of cantee service is not allowed. But if the service is taken to abide by any law, ITC will be available
