Mr. X wants to buy a car to start a taxi business wherein he will tie up with UBER.
My question is if Mr. X buys car in name of his properiteriroship GSTIN, then will he get credit of GST paid on car.

I think he will get the ITC as he is using vehicle for providing taxable output services...
but if he is providing taxable service through the UBER so this will be covered u/s 9(5) and uber is liable to pay tax...
hence the supply would become exempt and hence to that extent ITC is required to be reversed...
