Myself also experiencing the same case as my returns also "Transferred to AO" since July 2016.
But I personally met the AO and submitted all the required supporting documents (via ASK) long back to process further. But AO office is keep on updating me that some technical difficulty at their end as they do not have required permission to process my returns. I called CPC helpdesk multiple time but they have updated me that they can’t help here as it’s transferred to local AO for processing.
I’m still waiting for an update and continuously following up with AO to process my returns as the technical issue is not fixed for more than a year. I am not sure the real difficulty behind the issue and why this is taking very long time as no futher action required from my end.
Could you please help me to know the next steps of action in such cases and the specific reason for such issue?
