No you can not file
However you may file return under section 119(2)(b) of income tax act after drafting a letter expressing condonation for delay in filing return to your concerned CIT

As per recent amendment, from FY 2016-17 belated IT returns can be filed within completion of relevant AYs
but for FY 2015-16 you may submit return ithin completion of FY(2017-18) after the relavnt AY(2016-17)

Due date for filing belated return(loss of some benefits like no loss carry forward etc.) for FY 2017-18 is 31/03/2019.
Due date for filing belated return for FY 2016-17 is 31/03/2018.
Amendment
Due date for filing belated return for FY 2015-16 is 31/03/2018.(only for this FY only)
Due date for filing belated return for FY 2014-15 is 31/03/2017. already expired {119(2)b condonation of delay}
Due date for filing belated return for FY 2013-14 is 31/03/2016. already expired {119(2)b condonation of delay}
Due date for filing belated return for FY 2012-13 is 31/03/2015. already expired {119(2)b condonation of delay}
