There seems to be news that the due date for filling Income Tax return has been extended to 5th Aug, 2014; but no notifications available on the IT Website still !! The website too working slow as usual.

No such Extension Information is available anywhere till now ( 6pm)
Anyway as about I T Site not working or working slow, its not that like you are saying. Its working all Ok. except a few occassions during the day today that it was a Bit slow else it was Ok. I have till now filed / uploaded 48 Returns in last 6 Hrs, so it cannot be said that site is faulty.
Hope it gets extended for few more days. Crazy rainfall.
