It refund
Refund status for the assessee at IT wbsite and NSDL website is appearing as "refund is already encashed". But actually the same is not credited to either of the bank accounts mentioned in ITR. Later on it is observed that the account number mentioned was wrong. Kindly tell me what is the remedy for this problem?

Anurag, please check with your concerned AO to help you in this matter.
If it was efiling, talk to the ASK, else tal to your AO
You can do online rectfication and change account number on incometaxindiaefiling site if case has not transferred to AO
Bank account mentioned in the ITR is wrong??
Yes. He has written in his case.
Then it is not related to income tax act since it is mistake of assessee & we need to speak with bank regarding the same.
