19 May 2011I am using e-Filing facility for IT return as individual. What are the documents, I need to keep - which might be required in any future communication even in case TAX people asks to reproduce. How long I need to keep those as proof. Here for document, I am refering to BAnk PassBook, Form 16 etc. Thanks.

the same rules apply as for manual filing....
u need to keep for 8 years as precribed
