Issuing invoice in personal name

I am a dealer of grey cloths i.e raw material of cloths. Now, in grey cloth there is no kind of indirect tax applicable so I don't have to get registered to VAT or any other tax authority. My question is that I don't want to open a current account in bank just for some grey cloth transactions of little value and so would like to issue invoices to the buyers in my personal name.

Can I issue invoices as a trader of grey cloth in my personal name instead of in the name of a firm and then route the payments through my savings bank A/C. Please don't suggest me that opening current a/c has many advantages or such.
