ISD Provisions

Isd means input service distribution...its distribution of itc relevant to common expenses incurred at head offive and allocaba le to all the divisions with Same PAN number...say ex ....advertisement exp incurred in mumbai at head office and this expenses is allocable to all the divisons and branches of the entity with different states. so itc on advertisement expenses needs to be allocated and shared with other states on. a turnover of respective branches and offices....

So Is this concept apply when branches have been separately registered whether within state or outside state?
