Prepare with basic concepts... i.e., do 1st chapter first and then do SDLC(to know about systems development), then ERP.
Then prepare for other chapters in the following order: CONTROL, RISK ASSESSMENT, BCP, TESTING, IS AUDITING STANDARDS, IS SECURITY POLICIES AND IT ACT.

Study in the Order given by ICAI. There is a purpose in the arrangement of Chapters. You'll find a link between the Initial chapters and the later chapters that you'll come to know only when you start.
Ofcourse, you can study it the way you like but in that case may not be able to identify the links.

Ofcourse, you can study it the way you like but in that case may not be able to identify the links. It also depends on the coverage of the syllabus. If you are confident to complete the syllabus then the above manner may help. Otherwise you may have to see the pattern of previous examinations and come up with a list of chapters where more marks are covered and Prioritize accordingly.

I'm not aware of the reference books. As far as I'm concerned Study Material is the best because the Model answers given to the evaluators are the same that has been given in the Study Material. Institute expects you to understand the concepts in Study Material and they exactly ask questions related to Study Material only, not from REFERENCE MATERIAL

build your foundation first in the following order:
Ch 5 - Risk Assessment
Ch - 6 BCP
Ch - 7 ERP
Ch - 8 Standards
Ch - 9 Policy
Ch - 2 SDLC
Ch 1 and Ch 10 can be attempted randomly in any order as they do not specifically refer to other chapters.
Attempt Chapter 3 and 4 towards end as it refers to the topics mentioned above and you will be able to understand and appreciate content of these chapters only if you know the basics. It is very obvious, if you don't know ERP system or what is a BCP plan, how can you understand controls and how can you test them? In my opinion, follow 5,6,7,8,9,2,1,3,4,10.
