Isca revision classes-whether to join??

Final 921 views 4 replies

I am CA Final student appearing for Gr-2 in May 2012 (1st Attempt).I have not read ISCA so far and I am afraid I would fail in the same. I have series of books for ISCA-Dinesh Madan,Padhuka etc.But whichever book I follow, the syllabus looks the same-vague, boring, complicated. I am not able to understand any concept hence I am is also facing difficulty to learn it by heart/to mug it up.

Prime academy is starting revision classes for ISCA by Mr.Chandrasekhar for 9 days from  20/02/12 to 29/02/2012 from 10 am  to 5 pm. Shall I join these classes? If I do, will I be able to learn/understand ISCA sufficient enough to pass the upcoming exam?Which Book shall I follow? Please advice as early as possible.

If u join Chandresekar will feel happy that atleast one student came to my class. For ISCA even Charles babbage cant create an interest. U have to study no other go. U r writing only one group. u have ample time. ISCA is tough agreed but it can be cracked. Go for dinesh madan book.

Try M Valechha ISCA book. It is the best book ever released for this subject, The book is a short version of study material, covers all, topics.. also includes examples, diagrams, memory codes.... refer Study Material if you have sufficient time but not actually reuired. No class is needed if you study from this book.

i suggest you to join class because it will aid u in prearation...ISCA can b done self... I too have to do it. but i am not nervous....see isca is comparatively less bulky ..then DT,IDT& AMA.

only one 20 marks case study and few others 10-20 marks question requires concept clarity.

rest are direct questions ...PADUKA WILL SERVE UR PURPOS HERE . it covers module exhaustively...

LEARN HEADING & SUBHEADING by heart....underlines them in exams.....learn keywords...and underline them too in exam...it catches examiners eye....because u know  they only compare our answer from the standard.answer given to themm...this they do repeatedly....so they mostly concentrate on the key words....

I think Dinesh madan is a good book in terms of language . easy to understand & personaly what i believe is dat one cannot remember technical language in subjects like ISCA . so in exams we are anyways gonna write what we understand so i wud advise Dinesh Madan n the language is simplest in Dinesh madan .
