Memory Craft does help you to understand ISCA. It only help you to remember points.
I took classes from MC. It only help to learn headings and not the descripttion which you will have to write in the exam.
We remebers the point but we forgot the question in which we have to write it.
Overall, I am not satisfied.
If memory crafter is also helping you to learn what to write inside a point, then its worthful otherwise not.

Rahul Ji,
I want to correct my earlier post. MC does not help to understand ISCA.
What I found is the Revision. Again and again revision. When you do SFM or FR you revise them unlimited times and you continue to do that. Similar is the case with ISCA. It is also a 100 mARKS PAPER and should revise it like SFM or FR.
REVISION IS THE KEY TO CLEAR ISCA.
MC also does it. It only help you to revise the points.
Why dont you try it yourself.

Hi
Do Memory Craft provide some notes also for ISCA to memorize it easily? I have been following Sumit Shanker Book which is easy to read and understand and it is exactly based on institutes module. Overall very good book but it does not provide acronyms. Pls guide me whether I should continue with Sumit Shanker or switch to some acronyms based book.
Thnx

memory craft takes the base as Dinesh Madaan instead of study material . It does not provide any short notes to remember the things.
It provides notes which consist of only points of a main point from Dinesh Madaan. This does not contain any type of descripttion. It only associate these points with a story. If you forget the story, you will forget everything.
MC will help you to know how to create stories to remember the points.
These notes are useless for a person who does not attend the class. These are even useless for the students who does not even revise simultaneously with class.

I think my friend Sawita must have taken classes from Memory crafterz long ago. I took class from them recently before May attempt. And I scored an exemption in ISCA simply due to memory crafterz. The main requirement what ICAI wants from us is the exact technical language, which we fail to write in exams n we don’t score. N this is where memory crafterz helped me, learning the exact language and retaining the same till exams. ISCA is a subject which requires more of mugging the things rather than understanding.
As Sawita said, they only help in learning headings , I would say its not absolutely true. Maximum of course was covered in my batch except few. Next she said we forget the question in which we have to write the points, it may be that in her batch ques answer linkage was not provided as they were new. But now they provide full ques answer linkage and have improved a lot.
In all I would say, learning 90 percent of ISCA in few 10-12 days is absolutely worthed. Atleast it helped me as a ladder in reaching my goal to be a CA. n m thankful to my instinct that inspite of misleading guidances from market n my friends, I joined the classes.

My Dear Friend CA Bhajan Preet Kaur,
I took the classes for May 2014 Attempt in this March 2014. The problem which I discussed is the problem of many of my class mates.
It might be possible that MC have now changed the format. However, in March 2014, the format was the same which I discussed. I dont know your batch.
I would be really happy if you discuss here the marks of your other 40 or 50 classmates who also appered in May 2014. You are also requested to please dont discuss the marks of 3/4 students. The whole class result is the result of MC not of 2/3 students.
All are eagerly waiting for the result of all their students.

Recently in July 2014, my 2/3 friends attend the trial class of MC and they also faced the same problem I disucssed and they decided not to continue with Mc.
I just want to say dont go on my single decision. Go and attend the trial class. If it suits you, then attend it. But keep my experience in your mind also.

Dear Sawita, i just shared my experience. Can't say about other 40-50 students and their problems neither bother about any class's results. I would simply add joining any class never guarantees success.Class is always for a guidance and a little of self effort is always required with any class. We cant always be in a habit of spoon-feeding. I think MC gives you a way to memorize difficult technical things in an easy manner. This was what i felt and even benefitted from.

I recently joined classes at Memory Crafterz, and found it very beneficial. Also in our session sir provided with the question answers linkage, though he also mentioned that in his earlier sessions, question answer linkage was not provided. So on all i would say since now you get the question answerl linkage together with the learning techniques, the classes are worth taking. It does solves your purpose of learning isca.

Dear CA Bhajan Preet Kaur,
I just request you that whatever is your opinion give it as an independent person. Dont try to target me in any of your reply.
I gave my opinion. You gave your opinion. Why are you unnecessary targeting me everytime.
Please give your opinion without taking or referring my reply.
I once again want to reiterate that If anybody is joining Mc, I have no problem. It is the choice of a particular student.
I respect your views. However, I also request you to respect my views also. If you are favouring Mc, I have no problem. Everyone has its own opinion and no one can impose his/her opinion on anybody else. So please leave on the students after giving your opinion. Let them decide on thier own.
I gave my opinion, you gave your opinion. This is what the author of this thread wanted.

You Are absolutely right Savita. May be most of the crammers are going to like Mcclasses. So we can say that it's not meant for the students who want to understand and then learn the subject. And since majority of them are crammers, So they may find MC good. And as far as Ca Bhajan Preet Kaur's comments are concerned, i would advise him to comment upon the teacher and not upon your '60' score. Your score might be great but not the teacher.
