We are new startup and we providing an software services(software for school bus tracking app), I want to know is there vat applicable or not.
Presently we are charging Services Tax.

Excise / CVD at 14.5% and Vat applicable when software is delievered on media pack in case of subscricption.
Service tax when the delivery is in the form of an Internet download.
