Is this the India that We Wants????

Yesterday while watching news I came across one Shocking news...

That in Aligarh ( U.P.) one mother was killed....

Reason???

Its because her daughter has worn Jeans and that is not acceptable to their neighbours so they killed mother of that Gal.....

I just feel that whether we are living in 21st century or 18 th Century......

Why such partiality towards girls when we are talking about equal rights of Men & Women...

And whts wrong with jeans at all...  All are having their own choice towrds clothing.....

And this is not the alone issue.....

There are many things happening that are not accptable at all in todays world.........

Is Being girl child is sin in India??

Dear,

We r living in 21st Century not in 18th.. Its not question of western culture.. Its our mentality..

If they dnt like tht then they can talk and not killi her...

Indeed, its shocking and rather shameful incident that has happened in the country that is known as the world's largest democracy and is also known for the protection of human rights.

Every now and then, there appears column in newspaper that so and so tribe in so area has barred girls/women from wearing jeans, going to school/colleges, using mobile phones. Its India, not Taliban and its very opprobrious that we still have such elements existent in our society. We do expect that the authorities take serious note of these kind of communities/tribes so that the spirit of democracy doesn't gets abused by the suppression of the human rights.

I think it is worst stage of human mentality. It is also the lackness of 'SANSKAR' in our society.

It is not the schools or economic policies that are responsible for this. Our literature art forms cinemas does not think of bringing the society to a common mental state .

The B ig writers , artists etc., etc., wants to enacash civil problems rather showing a path to such problems.
