Hi, Thank you that i receive a reply on this regard. Is it not a kind of security concern for the users of the cards, be it credit, debit or whatnot. Why banks are not insisted on this? If suppose, by phising and other things, if anybody's money is withdrawn in foreign countries and if the sms is not reached the users, how would one know that the transaction took place in the first instant.
There must be fulll proof system in sms alerts, in such a way that if a message is not received by the users on account of network , tower , or any other internet failures, then it should be sent and a kind of automated machinery to check that it reaches the users, when the internet failure or any other failure is rectified .
Digitisation is a welcome measure , but the risks are to be minimised is my concern for the laksh of people who are using atm and other modes of transaction. If you do not receive OTP, you are asked to touch the resend button, but what about if a user does not know that his money has been debited or credited. There should be a kind of automated machanism to be thought of by the banks to resend the sms if the user has not received the sms in the transaction time Is it not a serious matter
