Is the interest earned on PPF is taxable if PPF amount is withdrawn after 5 years ?

no. the interest is tax -free even if u withdraw after 5 yrs........

No, not at all... PPF at time of its termination and interest thereon, both are exempt from tax.

Infact, PPF on termination and its interest (whenever withdrawn) are exempted from tax.

as per new budget, the schme is now EET, that means if we withdraw the PPF it will be taxed.

It is taxable if you withdraw amountbefore maturity
