Is orientation programme necessary ?

When there was not Orientation pro. then student did not become CA ! Am i right ? no, then why institute introduced such things !! Do you not think it is waste of 35 hours, which are very precious !! What do you think ? If we think same then we have club, we can try to end this waste of time pro.
