IS NCFM IS USEFUL

hey i thinnk NCFM is more useful if u r doin M.B.A. coz it gives an edge to your C.V. otherwise , it does'nt have much relevance unless you want to go into the share broking business or job as the case may be. i mean it does'nt hav any direct relations to the finance field. i can tell as i ve also done its DEALER'S CAPITAL MMODULE. n ya if you are looking on the knowledge front then its MUTUAL FUND MODULES are worth doing. but over all if u just want a sneak into a new field which may or may not be useful to u, then u can certainly go ahead n do it. n ya 1 more thing , some of the module certificate are valid for 3 years n some r for 5 years n then after their expiry u'll again hav to go about doing it. so better do it when u'll really need it then doing it now thats is what i think n that's y even i m not doin the rest of them now.

Definitely those modules would be useful for our profession
If you are going to practice, you can do this share broking as a side business(obviously registered in your spouse name)
If you are going to be employed definitely it would add weight to your resume.

I am also appearing in Nov.2008 final exam.

one of my friend is going to give the derivative exam in this month..it is very useful to our scope as it is part of finance and capital market...u should give this..

Hi all !!!  I m doing my engineering from IIT Roorkee.

I am intrested in finance. I want to do a certification course which can be completed in 6-7 months, to give an edge to my CV.

How is NCFM for that? Is there any other option????
