During Audit of a company i got confused by one doubt..
If company purchased some goods from other part of maharashta on 31st march 2011 due to transportation Goods recd by company on 2nd April then is it correct to record invoice on 31st march?
2nd in excise, they took credit, when they actually received the goods i.e in the month of April-2012.
This treatment is correct or not ?

Hi
Ameya Kindly note in Accounts bills to be enter as per bill Date only.not actual goods received.
In Excise part Cenvat credit is taken on Actual. Don't mix these two in one.
