Many CA are stating that even though the waiver of late fees for GSTR1 (FY 2017-18) was only available till 31/10/2018, Assessee are still not being charged late fees even if they file GSTR1 after 31/10/2018.
Can someone confirm if this is true?

Upto 31st October no late fee for GSTR 1 return for the period of July-17 to September-18...

now late fee on gstr 1 has been came in to portal..it will be added in your 3b.
Late fee will be charged after 31st October 2018
Can anyone please confirm the due dates for GSTR-1 of Oct'2018 and Nov'2018 period and whether Late fees would be applicable on both or only on the late filing of Nov'2018 period
