Agree with Sumit Sir..........bcoz, SOP's and guidelines issued by the Top excecutives and HR Dept. just follow the same........and it is like Experience Vs Certificates (Sevaral times debated on various websites).
The HR Dept. cann't compromise with rules of a Big organisation.
The HR Dept. of Big organisations are just thinks only after the creteria of guidelines given to that by their Bosses.

Dear Mukesh,
I agree with the views expressed by the experts here. That a graduation degree is a value-addition to a student's CV, is corroborated by the MoU signed by the ICAI with IGNOU in this regard.
I'm attaching two files containing information on B.Com. from IGNOU for the CA students. If you are not already aware of the nuances of the progamme, I think it will be helpful to you.

For getting entry into corporate job market, graduation is absolutely necessary. But later on as you move up the career ladder, ultimately your core competencies and skills is what matters the most.
Regards,
CA Gaurav Bakshi
friend,
the problem is that CA is not recognised as PG in many PSU and government offices. SO they say that minimum graduation is required.
Another serious issue is that if u want to go for any other international course , say CFE, CAMS, CISA.. if u read the qualifications eligible, it says like this " Graduation from any recognised university", further CFE recognises eligibility on points system. it gives 40 points for graduation from recognised university but for "professional courses like CA,CWA,CS " it gives 10 more points.. and you need 50 points to get eligibility...
so graduation is not important ..its neccesity .... particularly for students who want to go for jobs.... these are my findings... corrections and clarifications welcome...
