Entities in special category states with an annual turnover of Rs.10 lakhs and above would be required to register under GST. All other entities in rest of India would be required to register for GST if annual turnover exceeds Rs.20 lakhs. There are also various other criteria's, that could make an entity liable for obtaining GST registration - irrespective of annual sales turnover. Entities required to register for GST as per regulations must file for GST application within 30 days from the date on which the entity became liable for registration under GST.

  • To test this threshold, your turnover should include aggregate value of all taxable supplies, exempt supplies, export of goods and/or services and inter-state supplies of a person having the same PAN

its ur voluntry choice. if u wanna come in gst regime then u can take

As we know that every supplier under this act in the state ,or in the union territory, other than special category states having aggragate turnover in a financial year exceeding 20 lakhs Rupees shall mandatorily have to get registered for GST and for the states of NE, the aggregate limit of turnover is 10 Lakhs Rupees. In your case the turnover of your IT Company is less than 10 Lakhs Rupees. However i'd still suggest you to get registered, since the prime and important benefit of getting registered under GST is that you'd get ITC.

GST IS WORKING GOOD...
