1. Is a govt deptt also required to get itself registered under CST Act.
2. Form D has been discontinued. Right or Wrong?
3. In case a govt deptt is required to get itself registered, then will it also issue Form C and in case it doesn't get itself registered then will it be treated like an unregistered dealer?

1. Every dealer who are engaged in purchase and sale of goods and services must be registered under CST act. 2.Yes, govt deptt must have to register under CST act. 3. form D will not be discontinued as Govt Deptt will be a registered dealer. 4. They deduct TDS and Tax under DVAT and CST act and must paid to govt.!!!
