Is filing of Nil service tax returns compulsory? Is there any penalty for late filing? I have not filed my nil service tax return for Apr-Sep 2013 as yet and the penalty for me comes to about 500. How should I proceed? Should I file a return now?

File NIL Return now without late fee.
