No, DSC is not required while GST registration for partnership firm
If you are a sole proprietor or a partnership firm (unlimited liability) which are majority of cases, you can apply for GST registration and validate through Electronic Verification Code (EVC) which you will receive on you registered mobile number and e-mail id.
